The free app covers the main workflow:

  • generate context
  • copy to clipboard
  • paste into AI chats

Pro is for people who use AICodePrep often and want extra convenience.

Current Pro Features

Depending on the build, Pro may include:

  • prompt placement above and below the generated context
  • syntax highlighting in the preview window
  • additional UI and workflow options
  • Flow Studio and built-in AI chat experiments

The exact set of Pro features may change while the app is being simplified for the next major version.

What To Expect

The most important free workflow should remain simple and useful on its own.

Pro features are optional additions for heavier use, not a requirement for basic context generation.

About The Rust Work

The current Rust worker improves scanning and context generation performance in the existing Python desktop app.

That is separate from any future fully Rust version. The current goal is to make the v1 app faster without changing the main workflow users already know.
